Daily Horoscopes
Introduction
All Crosby's mobile content, including our SMS and MMS Daily Horoscopes, are unique in that they are fully personalised to each mobile user. These content services are currently available in up to 8 languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Russian. Other languages available upon request.
Why is our content service so different?
Ordinary "Star Sign" horoscopes are based only on each customer's
Zodiac Sign. As there are only 12 Zodiac Signs, these horoscopes can
only be extremely vague and general. We see Zodiac Sign horoscopes as
a "low value" mobile service as many people receive exactly the same,
"generic" horoscope every day.
Crosby has made it possible, for the first time, to offer your
mobile customers a truly personal daily horoscope based on each users
exact date-of-birth. By working out the unique positions of all the
planets we can calculate which planetary alignments are affecting
each user, personally, each day. This "value added", personalised
mobile service, is not available from any other content provider.
It is because of the added value that our personal horoscopes
offer that our current partners have chosen Crosby to be their
horoscope content provider. We provide our multi-language mobile content
to many different types of company, including global Telco's, regional
mobile operators, service providers and content aggregators.
Specific Services
Personal Daily Horoscope:
Based on the mobile user's exact date-of-birth, a personalised
content serviced. Requested from our server or delivered to your SMS
gateway in xml packets each morning at a time of your choosing.
UpDate:
A unique, daily "relationship checker". Unlike other horoscope
'compatibility' products, Update will allow the user to check
out how the changing pattern of the stars affects their relationship
on a daily basis.
'The Mystic' Oracle or 'iChing':
The mobile user can consult the Oracles wisdom by texting their
question, or just their date-of-birth to a short code. The user will then
receive the Oracles personal advice.
