Crosby's "Pubtext" and "Clubtext" services are fully managed audience participation systems
designed specifically for public house and nightclub environments.
How they work
- We install a miniature PC and a projection screen at your venue.
- A customer sends a text message to a number that is displayed at the top of the screen.
- A text message response is automatically issued to the customer confirming that their message
has been received.
- The customer's message is displayed on the screen for everyone to see.
Messages can be moderated and can appear with or without the sender's mobile number displayed.
The system also provides the option to charge a premium per message and generate a revenue stream
directly from the product.
Pubtext or Clubtext?
Pubtext is a small system with small screens and a small size projector that''s designed to
operate in a public house or small club containing no more than 50 people.
Clubtext is designed for audiences of up to 5000 people and can be scaled from 51 to 5000 people
simply by using larger screens. Clubtext offers additional features such as the ability to send
messages containing song requests or "shout-outs" to the DJ.

- Outside broadcast ready – a growing trend among clubs is to establish links with local
radio stations to provide live music output over the radio. Clubtext will display Radio station
logos while broadcasting (scheduled).

- Display advertisements (including fully rotating banners) anywhere on the screen for
cross–selling purposes.
- Enable "Text Requests", allowing your audience/customers to text the DJ with
"shout outs" and requests for music.
- Bluetooth Module: allow your customers to send messages and photos to the screen using
Bluetooth. Crosby supplies an access point that can handle up to 1000 simultaneous Bluetooth
connections.
