FAQ

Do I have a say of what information I want on the fax I receive?

Yes, our £99.00 setup fee covers upto 25 separate fields on a single A4 sheet. This is more than enough for most businesses and is ideal for containing credit card numbers, billing information, time of order, IP address of your website visitor and comments boxes for free hand text like special delivery instructions. More fields can be added at a charge of £5 per field. As the customer you can decide how the fax is laid out. You can add bar codes and your company logo free of charge. You might want to add bar codes in order for your staff to swipe into your EPOS (electronic point of sale) or till systems.

How long does it take before the fax arrives once someone has completed the form on my website?

Usually it takes around 10 seconds before your fax machine is ringing and receiving the fax. During peak times this can rise to around 25 to 30 seconds maximum.

What's the quality like on a fax, can I expect good readable text?

We can send the fax out at normal, fine, super fine and ultra fine resolution to achieve the best possible quality for your needs, the only drawback is the higher the quality the longer it will take to send meaning a greater cost per min. Bar codes are readable on superfine for most bar code scanners.

Can I see my bill online?

Yes, as with all of our products Crosby provide you with real time on-line statistics that will detail each and every call along with extensive reporting if required, all totally free of charge.
