Secretary/Administrator
£16,200k rising to £17,100 second year,dependent upon experience,
plus Benefits + company bonus scheme (linked to profits)
The Role
In this role you'll provide a comprehensive and confidential secretarial service to
the existing Crosby team. You will be involved in preparing letters and reports,
handling phone calls, organising diaries, setting up and taking minutes of meetings,
general book keeping/invoicing, making detailed travel arrangements for the team –
in fact everything that you can think of to keep a busy office running smoothly.
To be successful you'll need a good standard of education, at least 3 GCSEs and
RSA Word Processing Stage I and II, all backed by 2 years secretarial experience.
Shorthand skills would be an advantage. Able to meet tight deadlines, you'll also
have a positive 'can do' attitude together with excellent communication and
organisation skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day office management
- The organisation and arrangement of meetings and looking after visitors
- Acting as minute taker for meetings including distribution, follow up actions and collation of responses
- Typing documents and letters as required
- Secretary to the working business
- First point of contact for callers and visitors
- General book keeping/invoicing.
- Providing administration service to sales and management staff.
Essential Experience Required:
- Excellent written & spoken English
- Excellent organisational skills ,with experience of planning workloads in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written & oral) skills, demonstrating an ability to correspond with colleagues and internal and external customers.
- Experience of producing reliable and accurate work in a busy environment whilst working under pressure
- Previous experience of working in a secretary role
- Working as secretary at working business meetings
- Minute taking
- Some Experience of book keeping or invoicing.
- Microsoft Office
Qualifications:
- Possession of a recognised typing or word processing qualification RSA I & II

Hours
37.5 hours per week, 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
