Graphic Designer/Senior Developer – Crosbynet

£20,100 + bonus liked to completion of projects + company bonus scheme (linked to profits)



Job description


We are expanding our Crosbynet Internet division in order to support continued growth and increased demand for Internet, intranet and back–office systems. Crosbynet operates in an autonomous capacity, with its own client base and revenue stream, developing systems for clients as well as internally for Crosbynet itself.

Your primary role will be the development / maintenance of a variety of these systems. Some will be client developments, but it is expected that initially the role will involve mostly internal systems development. You will be required to work independently on projects, be creative , and have an excellent understanding of database–driven Internet and intranet systems development. As a senior member of the team, you will have experience of leading a project through its life cycle and be comfortable with turning concepts and requirements into working solutions. Some managerial or team leading experience will be an advantage.



Skills Required


Minimum of 4 years relevant software development experience and graphic design. Excellent technical knowledge in the following areas:
  • PHP/MYSQL Skills/Experience.
  • HTML skills.
  • Visual Basic/COM development.

Knowledge of the following would be an advantage, but is not considered essential:
  • Web Services development using .NET.
  • XML
  • Logical approach to problem–solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure .

Good academic background. A degree in Information Systems, Computing or similar would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Hours


37.5 hours per week, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday.
