Crosby Herald organise the Crosby Summer Fun Run

Crosby Herald organise the Crosby Summer Fun run every summer for local people and all monies raised via sponsership are donated to local charities such as Jospice and the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
Matt Wilson meets Cherie Blair

Today the Crosby Herald had the presentation of funds raised and prizes at Crosby Leisure Centre. For our part, Crosby supplied visual projection services for the presentation along with hosting of the website for next years event.

Matt Wilson MD of Crosby who met Cherie Blair on the day said, “it’s great to get involved with a local campaign and raise money for causes such as Jospice and the Marina Dalglish Appeal”.

Cherie Blair is patron of the annual event organised by the Crosby Herald and Great Crosby Catholic Primary School.

The event saw friends and families take to the streets of Crosby in June of this year. Cherie Blair presented a cheque for £2000 to Jospice.

In January, Crosby decided to raise money throughout 2005 by donating profits from its 118 502 directory enquires service which is aimed at the Local market. A few months ago Crosby presented a cheque for over £230 to Jospice, we hope to have some more funds to donate before the end of 2005.
