Crosby awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification

ISO Crosby Communications, a leading provider of converged communications and I.T. solutions, today announced that the company's quality management system (QMS) has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for Sales and Distribution of Digital Media. This recognition follows audits by the World Certification Services in 2007.

The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good management practices, aimed at ensuring that certified organisations consistently deliver products or services that meet clients' quality requirements.

"Crosby Communications is committed to delivering product–excellence and to continually improving our development processes. The achievement of this award is a resounding endorsement of our ongoing dedication to quality, reliability, and customer service," said Matt Wilson, Chief Executive Officer.

"For an organisation to function efficiently, it must maintain control of its operations in a systematic and logical manner. Successful companies insist on system design that not only addresses the needs of their customers, but also offers sophisticated error–analysis functionality so that processes can be constantly improved.

"In recent quality surveys throughout the industry our customers have placed us above our competitors, and this independent ISO certification confirms our progress. But we're not resting on our laurels: various other projects are already in the pipeline, and we plan to seek certification for these (and others) in due course."

ISO is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from some 120 countries. Its mission is to promote the development of standardisation and related activities to facilitate the international exchange of goods and services, and to develop co-operation in intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity.
