Crosby launches international Directory Enquiries service
Following the success of both its national and Liverpool–based Directory Enquiries
services, Crosby has today announced a brand new addition to its 118 family.
118 501 is a new international Directory Enquiries service, offering access to phone
numbers from over 24 countries around the world.
Matt Wilson, CEO said:
"Our hugely successful 118 502 service has surpassed all expectations and now has
an established and growing customer base."
"We asked our customers how the service could be improved, and the predominant
demand was for the provision of phone numbers from outside the UK. 118 501 is our
response to this feedback. It's a Directory Enquiries service dedicated to providing
access to international phone numbers. As you would expect, all the additional
functionality of Crosby's existing 118 services will be available with the new product,
and our phone lines will be operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
118 501 opens on the 19th of May 2007, by which time Crosby intends to have implemented
various enhanced features: including the ability to access the service in a range of
European languages (initially French, German, Spanish and Italian), in order to cater
for a broader international market.
