McCormick Solicitors Case Study - Text2Call


McCormick Solicitors main line of business is processing claims for motor accidents, they spend a considerable amount of money on advertising on the radio, the side of taxi's and the back of buses.

Crosby provided its text to call application to McCormick Solicitors so they could use it as a lead generating tool and also to deliver that wow factor to potential clients.

Paul McCormick, Partner said, Crosby approached us in October 2004 with a new idea and to give us something total different than any of our competitors have, a service whereby a potential client who either has seen or heard one of our adverts could simply text the word "claim" to a short 6 digit number. Within seconds their phone rings and so does ours, the potential client is connected instantly to one of our claims team who can start the claims process over the phone.

Its like a freephone number, but they don't have to ring us, we ring them, and the best thing is we are paying for the call, it only costs our potential clients a simple text message.

This innovate and cost effective application has produced 30% increase in calls and what's more, at the end of each call, the client gets sent a phonebook entry for their mobile phone within seconds of hanging up, this store's our freephone number in their phone automatically in case they need us again in the future.

With so many people now using text messaging as apposed to voice, its opened up a brand new market for us and given us a lead generating tools that non of our competitors have.
